Welcome to the home of Poolsbrook Primary Academy online.

We are a member of the Flying High Partnership, a Multi Academy Trust that supports over 30 primary schools across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. 

Our children tell us that they are happy, and the staff strive to provide the best possible education for them. We feel strongly that children only get one chance at education, and we want them to leave Poolsbrook having achieved their full potential and with a bank of positive memories to look back on. 

Our ambitious curriculum is built around the needs and interests of our children.  We work closely with our local community and look to provide opportunities for our children to ‘Make a mark and leave a legacy.’  Our vision for the children of Poolsbrook is that Aim High, Show Respect and Feel Safe.  Behaviour at Poolsbrook is exemplary, and our older children work hard to support the younger children in a range of ways.  We were judged to be a good school by Ofsted in November 2023 and inspectors commented that “pupils are proud to attend this school and the school has gone from strength to strength.”
