School Routines and uniforms
On this page you will find useful information regarding daily school routines and procedures.
The school day begins at 8:35am when the register is taken.
- The school day ends at 3:15pm.
- Our lunch break runs from 12:00 - 12:55pm.
This amounts to a total 32.5 hours per week.
Children in Nursery, Reception and Y1 and 2: Children should arrive at school no earlier than 8:35am to be met by the teacher or teaching assistant. At the end of the day, children will be handed over to waiting adults. We politely ask that the children do not play with the equipment set up on the playground for the day's lessons. Thank you.
Children in Y3 - 6: Children are expected to make their own way from drop off to line up at the classroom door, for an 8:35am start. The end of the school day is 3:15pm for all children and again, Y3-6 are expected to make their way to a designated meeting point for their journey home/meet with parents and siblings.
Children should be collected by adults known to the school: If you need to arrange for your child to be collected by a person not known to us please inform us of this through a phone call to the office. We ask you to provide a password to verify the arrangement in place. Children may be collected by family members over the age of 14 by prior arrangement.
School Closures: In the event of an unexpected school closure, parents and carers will be notified as soon as possible via ClassDojo. Children who are already in school will remain safely supervised by school staff and will only be released to a parent, carer, or other authorised adult. We ask all families to ensure that their contact details and emergency contact information are kept up to date so that important communications can be received promptly. Further updates will be shared through ClassDojo as necessary.

As our learning environment is both indoors and outdoors, we ask that you make sure your child is equipped for these areas at all times of year. Please ensure their clothing is practical and suitable for the seasonal changes.
We recommend a waterproof jacket and winter clothing for cold weather, a sun hat and protective clothing in the summer months. We ask that sun cream is applied before the children get to school so that they are ready for the day.
